a sketch that took no time, ended up taking time (and, again, it was about color).
p 91: please don’t lick the phrog.
it started with this harmless, simple little sketch and got complicated… quickly. ugh…
p 90: peacefully peaking through the plants with a pale blue eye.
innocent little doodles, like this one, are just the beginning.
p 89: pink and puffy, pillowy.
here’s how it all started. (maybe i should’ve rounded the corners more…)
so, I looked at my sketch again, and revisited the solution, which, with corners more rounded, now feels chewier.
change is good, right?
but, for those steadfast followers who might be concerned, the new name will be heythattickles.work. just so you know, i didn’t feel like paying so much for a .com listing. so…. i’ll still be here, posting, and i assume the transition will be automatic, you won’t notice, and no one has to do anything.
hopefully, you continue to find this trail of scat (noun: 1. jazz singing in which improvised, meaningless syllables are sung to a melody; 2. excrement, especially of an animal; dung; 3. a shower of rain; 4. tribute; 5. a tax; tribute; 6. a land-tax paid in the Shetland Islands.) entertaining. or something.
p 88: peachy by the beachy.
sketches, like this one, are fast and easy.
p 87: partitioning purples.
so, let’s begin with a little sketch, shall we?
p 86: please proceed in an orderly phashion.
naturally, it started with this sketch.
p 85: plenty of possibilities.
this little doodle started it all.
p 84: putting phluids in their place.
and it started with this lowly, unimpressive, insignificant little (and it IS little, about an inch wide) sketch.
