presenting coloring book #5.

these started out as drawings, then when they were scanned, they were placed in indesign (a page-layout software) and were recreated using the drawing tools there. not ideal. however, the original collection was disappointing in its ending and some of the images were… lacking. so, when the idea of committing these to coloring books that would be available to the public, some compositions were enhanced, added to, tightened up, and others were simply dropped, cut, tossed, deleted.

what can be done with circles, squares & triangles?

first, draw a bunch of combos in a sketchbook (for my niece’s birthday), then vectorize them (in inDesign, no less! a pdf is available) just to see what happens. pros and cons? is one version better than the other? sometimes i just don’t know. so…
